Displaying the software correctly in your production environment is a simple yet strategic way to improve efficiency, awareness, and responsiveness on the shop floor. ### **Devices You Can Use** JITbase can be displayed on multiple types of screens depending on your preferences and infrastructure: - TV monitors - Tablets - Desktop or laptop computers This flexibility allows manufacturers to adapt the display method to their layout and workflows. ### **Best Practice: One Display Per Machine** Based on real-world experience from our clients, the most effective setup is one display per machine. While it may sound efficient on paper, in practice, operators don’t carry the tablet with them when moving between machines. This results in limited visibility and missed insights, especially when working across multiple stations. Having a fixed screen on each machine removes this friction entirely. It displays machine statuses, alerts for downtime or issues, and helps operators prioritize tasks. This view is ideal for monitoring the full shop in real-time, showcasing productivity metrics, and aligning teams during daily standups.
